Frøya Ventures is happy to announce that Henrik Amstutz has joined us as Chief Operating Officer. A Swiss national with a love for sports and the outdoors, Henrik brings a sharp international perspective and a hands-on mindset. He began his career in London at Nomura, a leading global financial services group headquartered in Japan, being part of the M&A Investment Banking Division in EMEA. There, Henrik advised on complex transactions across sectors, leading both buy- and sell-side processes for global clients.
Most recently, he worked at a Norwegian venture capital fund, where he played a key role in scaling energy transition startups – leading investments, exits, and supporting fundraising inside the portfolio.
With exposure to more than 60 portfolio companies across Europe, Henrik thrives at the intersection point of strategy and execution. He brings the kind of strategic acumen coupled with pragmatic insight and founder understanding that is essential in venture capital. At Frøya, he’ll be working with the founders and partners in sourcing, shaping, and supporting deals across our key focus areas, and doing what he enjoys most: helping bold teams build enduring companies.
“Henrik represents exactly the kind of mindset we value at Frøya — an international perspective, entrepreneurial spirit, and an authentic drive to help founders succeed” says Åshild Hanne Larsen, Founder, Managing Partner, and Chair of the Board at Frøya Ventures. “He brings a rare mix of strategic capability and willingness to get into the trenches when it matters most. I know we will benefit from his energy and insight as we continue to build Frøya Ventures”.
Please join us in welcoming Henrik to the Frøya Ventures team!
