With Innovation Norway as a key partner, the accelerator will focus on three major impact areas:
- Increasing the number of female founders who turn their ideas into successful companies
- Driving the creation of new products, services and jobs — creating value at a national level
- Improving access to capital, including funding opportunities
The program will be designed and led by women and is aiming to address structural barriers faced by female entrepreneurs by providing targeted content, a strong network fostering confidence and psychological safety, as well as a support from a VC business model that actively invests in female founders.
The accelerator is being shaped through direct input from female entrepreneurs themselves. Frøya Ventures is currently running a survey to capture the real needs, opportunities, and challenges women face when building companies.
